FREE COFFEE

This happened a few days back.

At this point, I could have thrown my phone right out of the window!
And I wondered how such an "offer" would look like, if it weren't on my phone but in "real life".

And I didn't even want the free coffee! I just wanted to know about the offer and they just forced it on me like that!
Made me grateful the offer was just for coffee...

CROSSED!

After a lot of observation and introspection , I have come to the conclusion that crossing the roads in Bangalore is an art.

Because while I struggle to safely reach the other side of the road, many others waltz across the streets seamlessly.
Sometimes, I feel that the universe conspires against me every time I want to cross the road.

In such a situation, I tend to react in one of these three manners:
1. Stick like a parasite to anyone else who's crossing the road.

2. Fall to my knees and cry like a baby till someone feels pity on me and helps me cross

3. Run around in circles, pissing off all drivers and pedestrians

I decided to perform an in-depth analysis of my condition.

I could come up with only 3 ways to lessen my misery:

1. Acquire the talent of crossing roads

2, Dig underground tunnels and travel like a rat.

3.  Stop crossing roads altogether.

Until then :

THE FANTASTIC FOUR! [SPOILER ALERT!!!]

The movie begins with a kid called Reed creating a teleporter that, he assumes, transports matter to some other place on earth. Also, he says some big, sciency words, at which point I was like :

Reed and his friend Ben present a prototype of the teleporter at this Science exhibition, where they are "discovered" by Professor Storm and his daughter Sue. They tell Reed that the teleporter does not transport the matter to another location on earth, but to another dimension. Reed is taken to Baxter Foundation, a research institute, where he successfully  completes building the "Quantum Gate" along with Sue, Johnny (Sue's brother) and Victor von Doom (another genius, who just agrees to work on this because he has feelings for Sue)
They test it on a monkey.

The night after the demo, the guys ( Reed, Ben, Johnny and Victor)  get drunk and go to the other dimension before NASA guys go and steal all the credit.
The genius Victor suddenly turns into an idiot and sticks his hand into a pool containing green, gooey liquid. This causes an explosion.

As expected, he is swallowed by the lava-like green liquid. The rest of the guys make it to the teleporter, but they are too late to prevent exposure to the substance. In fact, they end up affecting Sue too. They all end up getting superpowers and are contained in a government facility.

Reed escapes, while the rest are confined to be studied. Sue, who is an expert in pattern recognition, is asked to help find Reed. She studies the locations where Reed had been spotted before and deduces his current location. She listens to music while working because it helps her think.

They find Reed; he creates a quantum gate again; they send some people there and find Victor; they get him back.
And suddenly, Victor is this badass villain with crazy powers!

He does some badass stuff, like creating a portal which consumes all stuff from earth. There is a small fight scene, which is not even worth describing. And suddenly, Ben punches Doom into the portal's energy beam and Doom disappears.

They come back and name themselves Fantastic - 4!
